Walking in the Mala Rua region

Autumn is a wonderful season for walking, the trees are losing their leaves and are beautiful colours.

There are many different walking experiences in the area around Mala Rua.

Coastal walking can be enjoyed in the area of Ards Friary and Forest Park. This walk allows beach walking leading to forest trails.

Glenveagh National Park caters for walkers of all abilities. Walk on level ground to the Castle and get the bus back if you wish. Alternatively take part in a ranger guided walk. Glenveagh has a walk to suit all ages and ability.

You could explore Árainn Mhór by a circular walking route.
